I do not understand what do you mean by waking up? Swapna’s suggestion of training Indians to become Jews is quite disastrous. I do not think any one of us would like to live like those guys in Israel. India is a very laid back country and let it remain for the sake of it.

You are right, Priya, this terror has filled our lives, every waking moment. Every time I step out into a mall, or a restaurant, I am afraid that something terrible is bound to happen. We need a strong leadership that would create better awareness and brief us on tackling security threats pertaining to terrorists acts. People of Israel are trained to tackle most such situations without government intervention but it took decades to accomplish that kind of in depth training. I think we need it for ourselves too coz everytime we step out, we put our lives at risk. Worse, we put our innocent kids at risk. That very thought sends the most frightening chills up my spine. I dont even want to think about it. But truth is, we have to wake up now. India has to stay awake, even at midnight now, to stay safe.

terrorists realise that blasts hav actually become a part of routine of the lives of common people…..they change their tactic… they besiege Mumbai.

and that is why they are successful…
People may say, ‘This too shall pass’….but we all are scared now..really
coz we did not think about it when we needed to
