“Some are destined to succeed, some are determined to succeed !”H. H. Swami Tejomayananda

I and some of you should believe on the latter one. Fortitude to minimize gaps in what we want to achieve thinking about a larger picture in mind is what it is required today. I have learnt about energy within and I also know that energy is neither negative nor positive. Our own personalization of events and the thoughts coming in and out determines the character of the energy.

Do not complain- Can you start practicing this for a week. Take this habit to work, family and other interpersonal relationships. Swami Vivekananda has said once, and the central idea of Bhagwad Gita is “to work incessantly”. I was watching this video where Nick without his arms or limbs trying to recreate a pack of school girls and at the end of his speech he tell everybody how to stand up “on his own”. In one of the lines he also mentions, “It matters how you finish, and you gonna finish strong.” You know it is true.

We have a purpose in life and that purpose has been predetermined already. It is different case if you realize your true purpose today or tomorrow. The crux should be, perform – failed? Perform again- failed -do it again.

I know a new golfer (at least his twitter account) defines him somehow. I also know how passionate he is about this sport. I have never played this game, but what I come to know from him, largely is that a golfer tries to focus on ‘that great shot’ and keeps improving. He will never remember the bad shots. He will recreate the good pull he made at that moment and better it. Same with life, people are busy really busy. Can we recollect that great conversation we made today, or a nice sale or for that matter that great meeting with one? If you start looking for it, you will be surprised that there are more in store.

Unattached and zero-expectations from life. Possible or not possible? Try a little charity without expecting something. Vivekananda has said, be cheated million times and never ask a question. Can we give selflessly without expecting gratitude? Rather we should be grateful that we have an opportunity to practice charity somehow.

One can’t be apologetic for being successful but, Is Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire truly worth getting 8 Oscars?

Remember Parinda? A Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s mega hit movie. If you will go through the movie again you will find Slumdog’s Jamal, his brother Salim and his girlfriend Latika is the replica of Parinda’s Karan (Anil Kapoor), Kishen (Jakie Shroff) and Paro (Madhuri Dixit) respectively, who rose from Mumbai slums. Parinda was even Indian official entry for 1990 Academy Awards in the best foreign film category but didn’t win the Oscar.

I was besides myself with joy when I saw A.R.Rahman getting 2 Oscars for the same movie but that very time one thing struck my mind that is Jai Ho (Slumdog millionaire song) the best song he composed ever? It seemed to me that those block heads are really carrying coal to castle because there are many A. R. Rahman’s songs which are well worth of an Oscar.

In the movie Lagaan The English were grievously in charge of Indian’s life in ruin. But when twist of fate occurred, pride hath a fall and the restrained Indians took time by the forelock and succeeded with new fangled English men in their own National game Cricket, it was really a shameful event for them. Lagaan was nominated in parallel with Amelie, No Man’s Land, Son of the Bride and Elling. Yet, self praise is no recommendation but many of us found Lagaan much better than any of these movies or even Slumdog Millionaire but, in the view of Oscar’s jury Slumdog was worth getting 8 Oscars and Lagaan not even for one. It’s difficult to say whether it is their decision or obstinacy. Even after the Oscar ceremony Ashutosh Gawarikar said “Americans must learn to like our films”.

Yet Slumdog getting 8 Oscars had already created much ado about nothing but in my view this matter should not really be hushed up. We really need to make Oscar’s jury aware that we are seeing through their tricks and the decisions they are holding with is that, all they like to see is vehemently distraught Indians living in inferno, which Danny Boyle has perfectly caricaturized in Slumdog Millionaire.

Yes, hypocrisy is the matter to agitate but, the problem lies in ‘I’. This ‘I’ is obligatory the hub of your life, all your possessions revolves around ‘I’.

One corner of your white painted heart always keep on suggesting some amendments for the mistake you made in past, always prevent you to deprive others of their right but, men being self centered thinks let it be, nothing succeeds like success, and all your aesthetic values got overshadowed by your money makes  the mare go philosophy. One might not be thinking to delude someone but it happens as your black painted heart completely believes in ‘I’.

And as life will change its pose, you will be at the other end of prosperity and from top to bottom you will be surrounded by grievances.

The folk whom you tricked earlier will come and pay you a hearty felicitation for all your vengeance so, stop being Lucifer of your life and avoid sticky wickets. Don’t let your all hopes end in a smoke.

One who live for others need not to bother for themselves.

Some couple of days ago i was thinking about me that am i a Successful person & enjoying my life and so on ……? and also started to think about my friends, brother and my close relatives. after some time i found completely sink in sea of this type question. In finally I reached on a result . I shall disclose it later.

In this world every one has a target, try to get it, get success and then decide next target ,try to get it and get success and then next….Is this truth of the life ? Ask yourself. Most of us have their eye on their target mile stone but neglect the greenery in the way of life. This greenery is nothing every one is familiar with it. It is enjoyment. In the race of acquisitions, most of us have forgotten enjoying the life.

Question is simple. How much of acquisitions and achievements’ does a common man enjoy in his life?

Now next question is that what is enjoyment ? For example. One person A who is returning to home from his work place by his luxury van and other hand one person B who is in crowded bus. Who is most enjoying his life A or B ? In my opinions it goes to 50-50 . any one of A & B may be more happy. I think that Enjoyment is only state of mind or feeling such as contentment, satisfaction, pleasure, or joy.

How to make a balanced life between our achievement and enjoyment? Work-Life Balance does not mean an equal balance. Trying to schedule an equal number of hours for each of your various work and personal activities is usually unrewarding and unrealistic. Life is and should be more fluid than that. However, at the core of an effective work-life balance definition are two key everyday concepts that are relevant to each of us. They are daily Achievement and Enjoyment, ideas almost deceptive in their simplicity.

keep smiling & be happy.
